Alaric was a powerful warlock from Posada. He was renowned for his magical prowess as part of Jarsali's Company and the events that lead to the company's end and his demise.

He was a member of Posada's council from 503 to 532, and he still to this day the youngest person to sit on the council.

Alaric was born in late 5th century Posada from a noble family, his mother was sitting at council ruling the country and his father was one the Alchemy teachers in a magic school. Alaric was a proficient wizard at an early age, often enough sitting at the top of his class grades. Most of his teachers only had praises for him when recounting teaching him. As a teen he was eager with power and spent most of his time either reading in the arcanic libraries or training his spell casting. But as such greed for power often does, a devil took an interest in him, meeting him in dreams he showed him planes of existence beyond his comprehension, creatures of uninmaginable biology and of course limitless powers. All of it accessible to him through a simple blood contract. And so, Alaric started walking on the path of occult magic and became a warlock. The good student became an incredible mage, reaching powers unseen since Posad Thèbre years, he became the youngest wizard sitting at the council of Posada at 23 years old.

On his 50th birthday Alaric de Lleiros, announced his retirement from the council of Posada, explaining he wanted to pursue magical researches which required more time than he could afford in his position. In reality his patron gave him a task, and a warlock (in particular one linked to a devil) rarely can ignore the tasks given to them. As such Alaric traveled the world alone in search of artifacts for his master. The last one he got at this period was a strange mask he started wearing in public, giving him access to more powers. Soon after he met with a group of adventurers in Gostion : Jarsali's Company.

After years of travelling the world for his patron, Alaric was given one last task to get his mask, a forgotten relic from before the Age of Enthropy, the mask was a reward from his master. After he obtained it Alaric waited weeks for a sign from the devil, a new task or perhaps freedom, but these weeks passed by in complete silence. That's when he met with a noble from Gostion escorted by Jarsali's Company, the noble wanted to meet the youngest mage to ever sit on posada's council, hoping to hire the best court wizard someone could ever have. But de Lleiros was more interested in the adventurers, an eclectic group for sure, and covering the magic side of party : Pietro Adélaïde di Caspiani. Alaric was originaly curious about the wizard for his strange condition, even a man as important as Alaric had never heard of someone being plane touched like Caspiani was. Wanting to study him upclose, he presented himself to Jarsali and joined the company.

Alaric joined Jarsali's Company with the intent of studying Caspiani. And therefor spent most of his downtime with his colleague, and as the two grew closer, Alaric studies gave way to romance.
